About Stephanie
For over 15 years, Stephanie has been fighting for the little guy. During law school, Stephanie found her passion for criminal defense through participation in a public defense internship and a criminal appeals clinic. She started her career at the esteemed Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where she represented juveniles and adults charged with minor cases up to the most serious felony offenses. While at the Public Defender's Office, Stephanie gained valuable experience in forming effective client relationships, presenting a winning defense to a jury, litigating motions, and negotiating beneficial deals for her clients. During her time at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, Stephanie was promoted to Training Attorney, where she trained young attorneys how to successfully advocate for their clients in and out of the courtroom.
In 2016, Stephanie relocated to North Texas and obtained a position at the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, where she helped enforce the country's civil rights laws and prevent discrimination against vulnerable students.
While Stephanie was proud to serve the nation's students, her passion for criminal defense never faded. In 2019 she joined the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas. While at the Federal Public Defender's Office, Stephanie learned the nuances of the federal criminal justice system and represented clients charged a wide variety of federal offenses.
Since starting The Law Office of Stephanie Inman in 2022, Stephanie has drawn on all her prior experience to successfully represent clients in state and federal courts throughout North Texas. She is proud to have been named a 2024 Best Lawyer in the specialization of criminal defense by D Magazine and looks forward to assisting you in your case. Contact us for a free consultation.
